Vicky qualified as a Physiotherapist from Coventry University in 1998 before starting work at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham before commencing officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. A regular Army Officer for 25 years, she has served on operations and exercises all over the world as a clinician and as a commander. She returned to Birmingham in April 2023 to be the Commanding Officer of the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine. Additionally, she is the Chief Allied Health Professions for the British Army.
