Where to park

Parking should only be in the designated Main Visitor Car Park which is located outside the north entrance of the hospital. At peak times the car park can become congested and spaces are limited.

All car parks across the Solihull Hospital site have been accredited by the Park Mark® Safer Parking Scheme.

Disabled parking

Parking for blue badge holders is available in the following locations:

  • Main visitors' car park
  • At the perimeter of the hospital, from the Physiotherapy department to the North Entrance

Please show your disabled parking badge at security reception to receive a free exit ticket. Security reception is located on the left as you enter the hospital via the main entrance.

How to pay for parking

Please do not pay for parking until you are ready to leave the car park as underpaid tickets will be rejected by the exit barrier machine.

The 30 minute drop off or pick up only ticket allows free entrance and exit for up to 30 minutes. There is no need to use the pay machine, simply insert your ticket in the exit barrier.

Multiple visit tickets

Discounted tickets for multiple visits are available to purchase from the parking office.

A 20 exit card, which is valid for 90 days, at a cost of £10 is available to chemotherapy, Palliative Care and Renal patients and their visitors. The 20 visit card can be purchased once a form from the eligible ward or department has been signed. The ticket is not transferable and can only be used on the Solihull Hospital site.
