The Teledermatology Hub at the Birmingham Dental Hospital

The Teledermatology Hub is located on the ground floor of the Birmingham Dental Hospital, close to the X-ray department.

Good Hope Hospital

The Teledermatology Hub at Good Hope Hospital

The Teledermatology Hub is located at Good Hope Treatment Centre.

If you are facing the Emergency Department entrance to the hospital, turn left and follow the pavement around the hospital buildings and go past the Orchard Restaurant. The Treatment Centre is on your right, located close to the visitor car park.

Upon arrival please report to the reception desk.

Grove Road Clinic

The Teledermatology Hub at Grove Road Clinic

The Teledermatology Hub is located at 51 Grove Road, opposite Solihull Hospital car park. Please do not go into the hospital or GP surgery next door.

Postcode: B91 2AQ

Free parking is available at the hub.

The closest railway station is Solihull, which is around a 12 minute walk away.

Heartlands Hospital

The Teledermatology Hub at Heartlands Hospital

The Teledermatology Hub is located in the basement of the Education Centre at Heartlands Hospital.

If you are approaching from the main entrance on Bordesley Green East Road, please follow the below directions or ask at reception for directions to Medical Illustration which will lead you through the hospital and to the Education Centre.

  • From the main entrance take a left turn and follow the corridor
  • At the end of the corridor, you will reach a circle of dolphins on the floor
  • Turn right and continue walking along the corridor
  • You will come to an owl on the floor
  • Turn left here and you will find the entrance to the Education Centre

If you are approaching from Yardley Green Road, enter the hospital at the entrance located next to the Children’s outpatients. Continue down the corridor until you see an owl on the floor, and turn right. This will take you to the Education Centre. 

Once you've arrived at the Education Centre, ring the buzzer and a member of staff will greet you. If you cannot get through, please call Medical Illustration. Once inside, please knock on the door and someone will let you in to the waiting room.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

The Teledermatology Hub at Queen Elizabeth Hospitral Birmingham

The Teledermatology Hub on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham site is located in Studio 2, 4th Floor, West Block, Heritage Building.

When you arrive, please enter the Heritage Building through the main entrance on Mindelsohn Way.

Turn right and take the first set of lifts that you come to on your left, just after the Centre for Rare Diseases, to the 4th Floor. When you come out of the lifts on the 4th floor, Studio 2 will be directly in front of you.

If you are travelling from the main Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham building, please walk round to the patient lifts (if you are unsure where these are please ask at reception). 

Take the lift to the 2nd Floor. When you exit the lift and turn right, you will see signs for the link bridge to the Heritage Building. Walk across this bridge. When you reach the other side, follow the signs for Studio 2 and the Edgbaston Ward.

Upon arrival please wait outside and the team will come out to you shortly.
