We understand that long-term pain has a wider effect on people’s lives - pain can stop people doing things that are important to them and lead them to become less active.
Physiotherapy aims to help alleviate the effects of long-term pain in order to maintain independence and get back to doing the things they enjoy.
Physiotherapists guide and educate patients on a variety of self-management strategies, such as pacing and exercises, helping to improve quality of life and function, and setting goals along the way.
