Induction

Two Doctors stood discussing whilst looking at some patient notes.

We are proud at University Hospitals Birmingham to be able to offer all our doctors a comprehensive, well planned, medical induction. The induction is planned to enable our doctors to be familiar with their working environment and to undertake their job role efficiently and safely and to provide excellent care for our patients.

The Trust is primarily composed of four main hospital sites:

  • Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH)
  • Heartlands Hospital (BHH)
  • Good Hope Hospital (GHH)
  • Solihull Hospital (SOL)

Regardless of your site the core Junior Doctor Induction programme is universal, this table gives an overview of what you are required to complete throughout the programme.
