When you first arrive at our clinics please ‘check in’ to your appointment using the electronic self service portal in our outpatient department. Staff on our reception desks can offer you help and support.
We will ask your consent to check your height, weight, blood pressure and waist (girth) measurement, as is appropriate for your clinic appointment. We may also ask you to provide a urine specimen whilst with us and have blood tests with our phlebotomy department.
We may also perform a clinical examination and look into your eyes using torch / light therapy.
We find it helpful if patients bring a list of their current medication and doses with them, this information can often found on a repeat prescription sheet. We also find it helpful for patients who monitor their blood pressure at home to bring a recent set of readings (over the last month as able).
