Wellbeing Support Officers

Resident Doctors Wellbeing Officers provide pastoral support that is independent from the clinical and educational supervisory framework. Whatever your needs are, we offer short or long term support that is warm, non-judgmental and confidential for any issues that may be affecting your work-life balance and well-being.

We can be reached by phone, email and WhatsApp (text message). We work across all sites and offer face to face support, information, advice and guidance.

Working as part of the Wellbeing and Inclusion Team across the trust, we have key working relationships with Post Graduate Medical Education in support of Resident Doctors Wellbeing. In addition, we can assist with confidential referrals to Occupational Health and signpost to other health professionals in support of your health and wellbeing

Your Resident Doctors Wellbeing Officers are trained in:

  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Psychological First Aid
  • Suicide Assist Practitioners
