Wellbeing

Circular images of four different hospital sites.

At University Hospitals Birmingham (UHB), we prioritise the wellbeing of our medical staff, recognising the demanding nature of their profession. As part of our commitment to supporting their mental and emotional health, we have established a dedicated team of four designated wellbeing officers. These officers serve medical staffing groups across all four of our sites:

  • Heartlands Hospital: Frank Kerr Building, opposite Paediatrics outpatients
  • Good Hope Hospital: First floor Richard Salt Unit
  • Queen Elizabeth Hospital: Ground Floor Nuffield House, Old Library
  • Solihull Hospital: Education Centre, Room 4

Strategically located, these officers ensure accessibility and convenience for all staff members. We believe that investing in the wellbeing of our doctors not only enhances their individual experiences but also contributes to a healthier and more resilient healthcare workforce.
