Our menopause services are delivered by our specialist gynaecologist to provide advice, investigations, and management of menopausal health.
Patients who are referred through primary care, gynaecology services and other hospital specialities have access to advice, assessments and treatments at our clinic, located at Solihull Hospital. Appointments can be either face-to-face or virtual.

- post-menopause
Each patient will be offered an individualised treatment plan based on their background risks and overall health.
Most women will only need to be seen by the clinic once, and any follow-up care will be provided by your GP.
What is menopause?
Menopause happens when your periods stop permanently, and usually occurs when a woman is in her 50s (the average age is 51 in the UK, but some women may experience the menopause in their 30s or 40s.
Sometimes this change can be associated with symptoms that can be distressing. For some women, symptoms may last for several years. Treatment for menopausal symptoms include lifestyle changes, non-hormonal medications, and HRT.
Every woman’s experience of menopause transition is unique, and an informed decision about which strategies are best is an individual choice.
